#Imeko2016 || Here Are The Announcements Made By Baba Banjo During The Christmas Service
For those who were not at the Christmas convocation service of the Church held at Imeko, in Ogun State, the following were the announcements made.
1. The Pastor in Council will be reconstituted and the aim is to make sure that there are new members who will help re-strategized the Church to greater heights.
2. A Committee has been set up to resolve crises among elders in the Church. Baba Nunayon is the head the Committee. He said this was necessary so as to make sure that the Church isn't in any crises before the 70th Anniversary of the Church.
3. From now henceforth, appointments of shepherds will be on merit after thorough scrutiny by the church authorities, irrespective of the spiritual messages given to such individuals to become clergies in the Church.
4. The Church seminary is to be upgraded to a University Status. This will take a lot of human and monetary effort. A Committee is already looking and taking care of the matter.
5. In May 2017, a meeting will be held with the Church's Musicians so to make proper arrangements and allocation of the music ground before next year Christmas Convocation. He said there is need for orderly arrengement and possible relocation of the music ground.
6. Meeting of Church workers will be held in January.
7. On 20th January, there will be a meeting of all sidemen and side women at Makoko.
8. Revival to offer in the new year, with the theme Divine Prosperity, will be held on the 28th to 30th January, 2017. The Revival is being organised by Omo Alaide Alafia. The venue of the Programme will be at Shepherd Hill Baptist Church ground, Obanikoro, Lagos.
9. A dedicated bank account has been opened with Zenith Bank for the sole purpose of collecting donations that would be used in building the Church's cathedral at Imeko.
